It has long been my belief that life is always talking to me—and the most pertinent question is: Am I listening? What is life telling me, right in this moment?
The truth is, 99% of the time these simple questions skip my mind. I’m caught up thinking about this or that, trying to solve some problem, attempting to learn and understand something that vexes me. Alternately, I may be checked out, giving my brain a rest, listening to music, playing my guitar, or watching a show.
Can anyone relate?
So, recently I made myself this sticky note to help keep my mind properly oriented:
It may seem silly, esoteric, or even a bit strange to some people for me to be asking this question. Some may wonder what this has to do with political analysis, cultural commentary, political chaos, or the global cabal—and I’ll get to all of that in a minute.
But first I want to share a story, and it relates to my sticky note.
To be clear, when I ask the question “what is life telling me?” I’m not just sitting around waiting to hear the booming voice of God. I’m not waiting for some grand cosmic message scrawled across the sky. I’m simply more curious and aware of my surroundings. The doorway to accurate perception is direct observation.
Thus, in moments of reflection, I pause, take a deep breath, and look around. What’s life telling me? What’s right in front of me? What’s going on around me? What thoughts are in my mind? How am I feeling? Why am I feeling that way? What conversations have I had lately? Who have I connected with?
There are more layers to this than I’ll get into now, but this is the gist of stimulating curiosity. Experience has taught me that by asking these questions, answers come. The inquiry leads my mind toward observation, contemplation, and evaluation—and I just want to point out that all of this happens at the level of language.
Then I sit with it for a bit. Maybe for a minute or two, maybe for just a second, or at times for a longer period of time, I just observe what’s happening physically, mentally, and emotionally. This, to me, is a spiritual experience—it’s the spirit within me that is witnessing the fluctuation of thoughts and the sensations throughout my body.
Sit with it for a bit. That’s the key to elevating inner awareness, and personally, I believe that navigating life through our inner awareness is infinitely more effective than just trying to figure everything out at the mental level. The truth is, we cannot figure everything out at the mental level, because there’s just too much to think about.
Thus the need for an inner knowing. Lean not on your own understanding, for it is fickle, fleeting, and flawed, thanks to the limited nature of being a human.
Navigating life in this way has been a grand adventure. Like I said, life is always talking, and if I’m listening, if I’m humble enough to surrender my expectations, ambitions, and mental grip on things, there is a gratitude, groundedness, and joy that seeps up from deep inside. The result is that my heart is happy, I am grateful, and the goodness of life abounds all around me.
That is a starkly different perspective and place to live from, as compared to the constant stress that accompanies carrying the weight of the world and trying to figure it all out—which I can’t, even though I never get tired of trying. This is part of the human paradox, that we can all at once know something and know nothing at all.
Now then, to point when the answer became crystal clear. What is life telling me? Every time I see the sticky note, my mind wonders and wanders… though I don’t always take the time to stop and reflect, the seeds of reflection have been planted. I’m on the look out. I’m open and curious. I’m listening, with my heart wide open.
Last night my mom treated my family and I to a birthday dinner at our favorite local restaurant. For those who didn’t know, it’s been my birthday all week. ;0)
Sitting in the restaurant, enjoying the meal and the company, I heard some words drifting through the air that caught my attention—and they weren’t just catching my attention, there were others in the restaurant who were tuning in as well. Sometimes trying not to eavesdrop is a lost cause, so when the timing was right, I got up and approached the couple who was having the conversation.
I told them I appreciated what they were saying — calling out the political corruption of the two-party system, talking about how the globalists are playing us all, etc. — and that it was refreshing to hear someone state it so clearly. An enriching conversation ensued, as did an exchange of numbers for further discussion. I love this kind of stuff.
What’s more, during the conversation, another gentleman came over and engaged, dropping several truth bombs of his own, and also expressing appreciation for the conversation that was being had. So here we were, random strangers connecting through a common understanding of what’s really going on in the world, and the obvious question was eventually asked: What the hell are we going to do about it?
In that moment I blurted out “We’re doing it!” — we were talking about it, discussing it right out in the open, validating many of the truths that have come to light, with the full understanding that many people still remain in the dark. It is impossible to know who all was listening in, but I suspect there were many ears perked in our direction.
To me, this was all divine connection. It was meant to be. It could not possibly have been orchestrated or planned. It just was, and it was great, and I am grateful.
This experience was meaningful to me for many reasons, but most importantly, it felt like confirmation. It was an experience that indicated I’m on the right path. I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing, which is reading, researching, writing, recording, and sharing what I learn each day, to deliver the facts and evidence that people can use to develop their own informed perspectives.
Keep on keeping on… That’s what life is telling me.
Of course, life is telling me much more than that, but that’s what’s relevant to my mission with The Torch Report. As I’ve said so many times before, we cannot solve a problem that we do not understand—and there are very few people who have the time or inclination to wrap their heads around what’s happening in the world.
Hence the labor of love in producing these reports, and my deepest gratitude for those in the Patriot Club who support this mission of sharing the “truth you can trust” far and wide. I simply cannot thank you enough—I honestly lack the words.
Now to the news.
In another recent conversation, I was talking to my little brother who happens to live in El Paso. He doesn’t read or listen to my content, so it seemed like a ripe opportunity to get some “eyes on the ground” perspective on the border crisis. In his perspective, it’s not as bad as the media is making it out to be—as in what crisis?
My takeaway was that most people remain ignorant to what’s really going on.

While out of touch Republican war hawks like Mitch “The Glitch” McConnell continue trying to convince the public that securing Ukraine is our “number one priority,” anyone who hasn’t drank the Ukrainian kool-aid realizes that the invasion on our southern border poses an infinitely larger threat to our national security.
Then there is the stellar leadership of our VP diversity hire Kamala Harris, the so-called Border Czar, who continues to fleece the public and insist “there is no border crisis,” despite the many prominent Democrats like New York Mayor Eric Adams who are sounding the alarm of the influx of illegal immigrants.
Says Adams: “This issue will destroy New York City.”
Indeed, it will destroy our entire country, and many would say that’s the plan. Just like illegal immigration has fueled an out-of-control rise in crime and chaos in Europe, so too shall we reap what our corrupt globalist politicians have sown right here at home.
Again, it’s all part of the plan. Despite the prior Democrat grandstanding about all of those poor kids being held in cages, they are the ones who are fueling this massive influx of criminals, gangsters, terrorists, and disease ridden third-world peasants who are openly defying the rule of law, showing up with their hands out, and demanding that the American government give them cradle to grave entitlements.
You know, just like they were promised. In exchange for their illegal votes of course.
But just consider how this is being portrayed in the liberal media:
They seek to illicit sympathy so that all the “good humans” in the world fall for their globalist scheme. We are told that immigration is being driven by climate change. We are being told that immigration restrictions are unjust because illegally entering a foreign territory and demanding respect and compensation is a basic human right.
I suppose that’s why the globalists think that anyone who opposes this aspect of their agenda (illegal immigration), or any other aspect of their insidious anti-human Agenda 2030, should be silenced, “permanently.” They must protect their evil lies.
The truth that many people have yet to realize, is that we are already living in what amounts to a “Communist Police State”—to quote the venerable Wayne Allen Root. Our elections are about as secure and effective as a Banana Republic, media blackouts of political persecution continues to pick up steam, and our decrepit ruling class continues to be used like puppets to usurp the Constitution and will of We The People.
(For example, consider that Dianne “The Dinosaur” Feinstein voted “yes” on massively impactful legislation one day before dropping dead—may she rest in peace.)
Never forget that we are in the midst of the Great Reset. The Global Cabal is currently accelerating their various agendas. Those in the know are speculating that 2024 is going to make 2023 look like a walk in the park. In fact, according to veteran investigative journalist Leo Hohmann, there is a convergence of factors pointing toward a “major shock event” happening in the next three to nine months.
“Whatever it is, this new catastrophe will hasten the collapse of the old world system, a collapse of economies and political structures that is already underway, paving the way for the Great Reset or, as some call it, the New World Order.”
We’ve heard it all before. Be prepared, but don’t be scared.
When I look out the window, I see signs of fall. It’s a beautiful time of year. I hear life calling to me, “come out and play,” and I’m reminded that no matter what, life is still good. No matter what, life is still good!
In fact, life is GREAT, and it’s a great day to be alive. Let’s make the most of it!
