Need to stop it before it starts, harder to end the problem once it gets going...but I'm guessing that was never brought up by the side proposing more services? Let's just throw money at it and watch the problem continue to bloom out of control....well it already is, and if one thinks it'll never get worse...uh...
Thank you sir, and yes, you are correct that the side proposing more services seemed blind to the fact they really are just pissing on a forest fire, and that without addressing the root causes driving the massive increase in mental health / addiction, the problem is only going to get much, much worse. This documentary called "Seattle is Dying" address just how bad it was back in 2017, and the latest report show a 125% increase in violent crimes in just the last few years alone. It's insane.
